1. Data Controller

2. Types of Data Processed

We collect and process the following types of personal data:

  • Navigation data: The computer systems set up for the operation of this site acquire some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, browser type, domain names).
  • Data voluntarily provided by the user: Through the contact form, we collect name, email address, company (optional) and the content of the message, in order to respond to the request. To protect the form from spam, the IP address of the request is also processed briefly (see section 4).
  • Cookies and Usage Data: For details, please refer to the specific Cookie Policy. We use Google Analytics 4 (which does not log or store IP addresses) and the Meta Pixel only with the user's consent, and cookieless Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate page counts.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

User data is collected for the following purposes:

  • Responding to contact requests: The legal basis is the execution of pre-contractual or contractual measures adopted at the user's request (Art. 6, par. 1, let. b, GDPR).
  • Statistical analysis (Google Analytics): To understand how users interact with the site. The legal basis is the user's explicit consent (Art. 6, par. 1, let. a, GDPR), collected through the cookie banner.
  • Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel): To measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). The legal basis is the user's consent (Art. 6, par. 1, let. a, GDPR), collected through the cookie banner.
  • Site security: To prevent or discover fraudulent activities or abuse damaging the website, including spam sent through the contact form. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Art. 6, par. 1, let. f, GDPR).

4. Methods of Processing and Storage

Data processing takes place using IT and/or telematics tools, with methods strictly related to the indicated purposes. The data provided via contact forms are kept for the time strictly necessary to process the request (maximum 12 months). Analytical data collected via Google Analytics are stored for a maximum period of 14 months. The IP address used to limit repeated submissions of the contact form is kept only in the server's memory, for no more than 10 minutes, and is not recorded elsewhere. Your cookie choice is saved only in your browser.

5. Communication of Data to Third Parties

Personal data may be communicated to third parties acting as Data Processors (Vercel Inc. for website hosting; Linear Orbit, Inc. for managing the requests received through the contact form; Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) for sending the internal email notice of each request; Google for the Analytics service; Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. for the Meta Pixel) exclusively for the purposes listed above. Data will in no case be disseminated or sold to third parties.

6. Extra-EU Data Transfer

Some of the third-party services used (Vercel, Linear, Resend, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) may involve the transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the standard contractual clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission, ensuring a level of protection compliant with the GDPR.

7. Rights of the Interested Party

Under the GDPR, the user has the right to:

  • Access their personal data and know its origin, purposes and aims of the processing;
  • Request the update, correction or integration of data;
  • Request deletion (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing or object to it;
  • Request data portability;
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on the consent given before its withdrawal); for cookies, use the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page;
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data).
