Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Negen S.R.L., with registered office at Via dei Mille, 59, 64100 Teramo (TE), Italy, VAT IT02199380672, reachable at info@negenai.it.

2. Types of data processed

Negen S.R.L. processes the following categories of personal data:

Data provided voluntarily: first name, last name, email address, company/organisation name and phone number, collected through the demo request or contact form on the website.

Navigation data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, pages visited, access date and time, collected automatically by the systems managing the website.

Cookies and similar technologies: data collected via strictly necessary technical cookies and, subject to consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4). For further details please refer to the Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

a) Responding to contact and demo requests — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

b) Website security and abuse prevention — legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

c) Website traffic analytics (Google Analytics 4) — legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time via the cookie management panel.

d) Compliance with legal obligations — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

4. Retention periods

Contact request data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from collection, unless otherwise required by law. Navigation data (technical logs) is retained for 12 months. Data collected through analytical cookies is retained for the period set out in the Cookie Policy. Upon expiry of the retention period, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.

5. Recipients

Personal data may be shared with:

  • Technical service providers (hosting, email, CRM) acting as Data Processors under Art. 28 GDPR, with whom data processing agreements have been signed;
  • Google LLC as part of the Google Analytics 4 service, only with the user's consent;
  • Judicial or administrative authorities, as required by law.

Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

The website is hosted on infrastructure within the European Economic Area (EEA). Google Analytics 4 may involve transfers to the United States: such transfers are made on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. The user consents to such transfers by accepting analytics cookies.

7. Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the right to:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR): obtain confirmation of processing and a copy of their data;
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): request deletion of personal data (right to be forgotten);
  • Restriction (Art. 18 GDPR): request restriction of processing;
  • Portability (Art. 20 GDPR): receive data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR): object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 GDPR): withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

8. Security

Negen S.R.L. implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, destruction or disclosure, in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR. The website uses HTTPS with TLS encryption.
